WHO IS YOUR HERO OR ROLE MODEL?

JESUS is, of course, our Primary Hero and Role Model. Secondary ones might include a Biblical Character, Historical Figure, Family Member, or even a Literary Character. Who has been a Beacon of Light, a Ray of Hope, or an Inspiration to you?

Who invested him or herself in your Life? Who has filled a Critical Role for You? We all need someone we can look up to and learn from. Give this some thought Today, because such people will nudge you toward God's Best For Your Life.

WHO'S YOUR INSPIRATION?

Take a moment to think about one of your Heroes or Role Models. Is it a Parent, Sibling, Grandparent, Mentor, Teacher, Pastor, Missionary, Benefactor, Counselor, Coach, or Doctor? Have you ever cut out a Newspaper Article on a Local Hero you admire? Have you learned a Great Deal by studying the Life of the Apostle Peter, Eleanor Roosevelt, General Patton, or Don Quixote?

Or, have you learned about Courage from a terminally ill Friend? We must Embrace Life's Lessons through Pain to find Real Peace, Freedom, and Truth.

*I have learned that we Make our Plans, but that GOD Directs our Steps. I also know that his way and timing are Perfect, and that he wastes Nothing. I have Encountered Truth ~ JESUS CHRIST. That Relationship has Challenged me, Changed me, and continues to bring me New Life as I Surrender Daily to Him.*

**Real Heroes and Role Models are ordinary People, who have developed Character that has taught them to Obey Christ. Their choice to follow GOD'S Principles and Listen to his Spirit is Life ~ Giving to those they are sent to Serve.**

Daniel was a Hero

Daniel faced lions rather than bowing to a King whom others adored as a GOD.

Read Daniel 6:1-28. Do you tend to hang around People who are this Bold and Daring for the LORD? What might such Role Models inspire you to do?

Lord, I Thank You for Washing Me with the Blood of Jesus and for Making me Brand New.

Forgive me for clinging to my old ways of Thinking and of Doing Things. Today, I ask You to Help Me Drop Those Old Habits and Attitudes and to never pick them up Again.

By Myself, this would be almost Impossible, but I know that by Your Power, I can walk FREE. Right Now, I Release those Old Attitudes and Habits that I've been carrying around with me for so long.

I ask You to Help Me Think and Behave in a way that is Consistent with the New Creature in Jesus Christ ~ You have Made Me To Be.

Lord, I ask You to help me become a Doer of the Word and not a Hearer only.

Forgive me for the times I've Heard the Word of God preached in Power and even said *AMEN* to the Message, yet failed to walk out the Truth I Heard or to make it a part of my Life.

Starting Today, I make the Decision to be a Doer of the Word of God. Holy Spirit, give me the Strength and Divine Energy I need to take the Word I hear or read and put it into Practice in my Life.

God will take care of us

We shouldn't become

Over Confident in

times of plenty, but we also

need to Patiently Endure

Times of Adversity.

God will NEVER leave us.

He will be Near us

in our troubles.

Unbelievers don't have

this Confidence in God

because they put their trust

in Earthly Things.

~ MY GUARDIAN ANGEL ~

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive

with meekness the Engrafted Word, which is able to Save Your Souls . . .

~ MY PRAYER FOR TODAY ~

Lord, help me step out of the Sins and bad attitudes that have held me captive for so long. Help me know the right steps to take to remove these destructive and unworthy things from my Life.

You want me to be *FREE*, and I desire to be *FREE*.

With your Help, I know I can be permanently set *FREE* from these negative things, stepping out of them and pushing them so far away that I will never pick them up again!
